Was gonna post this in the tech forum but thought I would ask here if anyone knew of someone with a hitch installed and pulling a trailer? Dauntless up here in Covington makes a hitch for both the 1300 and 1800. Just wanting some info on what's it like pulling one on a bike.

Thanks.

I say we all pitch in and buy wav's trailer hitch so he can carry all our stuff :D

Is it the hitch that bolts to the fender strutts? I wonder why one couldn't be made single sided bolted to the right swing arm. Sure would look alot cleaner

You always come up with the best idea's Brad, I have a buck 39 in pennies in my desk.

I've never pulled a trailer before on a bike, I wonder how much jerking you would get?

That's ok, women seem to have that kind of affect on us, you know we get that glassy eyed look on our face and we just can’t seem to help our selves, it’s like they hypnotize us or something  .

Yeah, I hear ya.

Dauntless is going to be out at the Kitsap fairgrounds for the Annual Govenors run. I think I'm gonna head there on Sunday to check out the vendors and see my GW cohorts.

One reason I brought this up was, the 1300 and even the 1800 only has a rated carrying capacity of 400, 410lbs or therebouts. Rider and Passenger will take up the bulk of it, accessories somemore and what's left is what you can safely carry without risking bearing/axle failure.

Now, my porky butt is 230, I wont mention my wife, but we'd take up a bunch. If you take any gear for camping and stuff, you have quite a bit hangin off the bike. I like this style trailer cause it's single wheel, and I like the swivel hitch design and they move independently of each other.

Let ya'll know about pricing info if ya want.

TTYL.

I think that will work for a few of the pans, and the rolling pins but I don't know about the baseball bat. Might not be big enough!
