Just got back from a trip with my 70 yr old father and older brother. We crossed into New York at Gannanoque and took hwy 3 from waterdown to Saranack lake. this road was awsome ! We then headed south and west to the Vermont border where we crossed at Port Henry. What a great trip from Middlebury down 125 to 100 and across 4 into New Hampshire . We took 10 north to 112 across to Lincoln for the 2nd night. The next day we headed across the Kancamagus, north on 16 through spectacular MT Washington and across into Maine for the third night in Lincoln Maine. Our 4ht day was from Lincoln to the Canada border at Edmundston and over to Rivjere- du-loup for the night . Our next day was mostly highway riding to Hawkesbury Ontario( Montreal was a pain in the ass). Our final day was an easy day ride home to north of Toronto for a total of 1960 miles of riding in6 days. Our plans are being made for next years ride to stay in the Adirondacks for 4 days and just do day rides in the mountains . We meet some truly great people along the way and had an absolute ball.
