1800 r and s rear tires

Hi All.

What a dummy I am. I just got my new venom front and rear tires. To my shock as I am looking at stuff I find the rear IS a 180/70/15 not a 16?

Another had posted that and I thought he was mistaken. I just called Cycle barn and asked about a rear for an s and they thought it was a 16 untill they looked at the parts manual. No vendor that I have seen HDL, Avon or others has a listing for an S as a 15. They all list the 1800R/S as a 16.

Dont ask why I did not notice this before? I know that I looked at the tire size on the tire and wrote it down. But I quess in checking prices and they all listed a 16 I though that is what it was.

So looks like I might have a tire or set of tires to sell soon.

I feel your pain :cry: I ordered tires last week and went thru the same thing, the only tires I found for the rear were Metzler 880's, Dunlops and Bridgestones. After these tires wear out I'll be looking for other rims.
