Just wanted to say hello to my 808 brothers & sisters as I'm new to the boardz here (although I know and have riden with a few of ya). anyway, I hope to see ya on the the road and until then take care & ride safe. I hope none of you got stuck in that nightmare traffic the other day..... :!:

Aloha....and welcome aboard.
Yep....I got caught in that mess Tuesday night.
Just got off the plane from Maui biker cruise 5:30 pm
Thought I was in hell.....Went to get my car in the airport overnight parking lot.....then got stuck in traffic trying to get to the incoming baggage section. Took me about 20 minutes to go one block.
Then tried to get back to the North Shore (Turtle Bay) and every car trying to get to the west side of the bridge damaged in the accident was going the same route.
I ended up taking a hotel room in Kaneohe.
I should send the U.S. Army the bill for the overnight stay. That truck driver is an IDIOT and should be shot....then taken out and killed....then sent to Waianae so some of my family can spoon feed him to the sharks.
Apparently there are other who would like to do worst. :evil:

Yea I watched the traffic jam from the comfort of my home. Looked like it sucked. :D

Thanx for the welcome, yeah it's a reminder if you will of just how critical "little" things like this can cripple the whole damn island!! Fortunately (selfishly speaking of course) I was also @ home watching the turtle race from my patio and stupid tube. Unfortunately the ol lady didn't get home until about 2a.m. and let's just say I'm still hearing a bit of it.....
