September 30th will be the Second Annual BikeFest
sponsored by Broadway Choppers in Vale Park
on Knotts Terrace or maybe Notts Terrace in
Schenectady NY, just the other side of the street from
the downtown Holiday Inn.
The admission is free.
Food is from local vendors and inexpensive, last year
had sausage sandwiches and sodas.
A local radio station was on hand providing some
entertainment.
Police were nearby to direct traffic.
Lots of bikes to look at, a contest with several categories
of custom bikes, mostly Harleys, but last year there was a
special trophy given to a non-harley.
I am hoping I have a shot at that trophy this year.
A chance to meet with other bikers.
Worth a ride if you live anywhere near
Albany, Schenectady or Troy.
See the Broadway Choppers website for more details.
