Here's the rest of the information.
FINAL ITINERARY
The funeral for LCpl Golla is going to be held on Saturday, September 16th 2006.
The service will be held at
St. Matthews Catholic Church
8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway
Charlotte NC
Staging will be at Ballantyne Commons East, a shopping center at the intersection of Johnston Rd. (Hwy 521) and Ballantyne Commons Parkway.
0815: I’ll be at the staging area.
0950: Preride briefing with KSU directly afterward.
1015: In position at the church.
1100: Services commence.
From Hwy 485 take exit 61 (Johnston Rd./Hwy 521) SOUTH. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light. There are large square arches at all 4 corners of this intersection. Once you turn left the shopping center entrance is the first right. There is a BP station on the same side of the street right at the entrance to the shopping center. The staging area is in the parking lot directly up the hill behind the BP station.
The ride to the church is 2 miles straight down Ballantyne Commons Parkway and I hope to have a Sheriff’s escort arranged. There’s only 1 large intersection to traverse.
If you’re planning to be a part of this mission please post your intent and whether you’re a rider or cager. Mount large flags if you can both the National Colors and the Marine Corp flags. Bring flags to hold in a flag line also if you can.
Thank you PGR members for the time you’re about to invest to honor this young Marine. It’ll be time well spent.
To the family and friends of LCpl Cliff Golla you have the deepest condolences of the entire family of Patriot Guard Riders and Thank You for inviting us to take part in his service.
Ride Safe.

I'm not a member but if I'm off can I go?
There is a Chick Filet near by if you want that and a Panera Bread across the street. McD's a few miles away and the regulars a few miles away in Pineville.

Hey Ray,
We are bikers, so wear what you ride in. Bring a flag if ya got one. We are just 2 wheel riders showing respect for our soldiers who have given the ultimate price for our freedom. See ya tomorrow.

The Mission today was completed. Thanks to GR8PHUN, Joeface and Big-X. Terrific turn out. For the board and few that didn't know we were escorting the family to the cemetery. The family limousine broke down almost a mile from the cemetery. The family gets out of the car and comes back to the Guard Riders and ride in on the bikes. After the funeral is over the family rides back to the church on the bikes. They were all smiles. Made me feel real good. Thanks guys.

It was great see the family ride in on the back of the bikes, took a few bikes going by before I knew what was going on. Was great seeing you guys again and meeting you Big X, that bike is a beauty. Moreover it was an honor to serve with you in honoring LCpl Golla.

Everyone, I enjoyed spending some of the day there today, it was amazing. I'm so proud of the people who have served, are serving, and couldn't serve. Standing there around all those vets really made me regret neven being allowed to join...thanks to Asthma.
My son is on the USS Wasp in the Med near Lebanon and is happily serving.
Thanks Dennis and everyone else, by the time the medic unit departed and I got back up to the top everyone was gone...I felt alone...lost...just kidding, I knew where I was. :)

These missions don't get any easier. This was my 5th one. The thing that keeps me going is I know it is the right thing to do.
I met up with Big-X (Ray)at the cemetery. I parked across the road from him and that X caught my eye big time. Ray was very nice and let me drool over his bike while he told me all the details about building this bike. All I can say is pictures do not do the bike justice.
Ray also shared that his son is in the Navy over in Lebannon right now. I pray for his safety while he is at sea. It was real nice to meet Ray and I hope to meet him again under better circumstances.
