To all the VTXer's (and other riders) out there...
This Sunday (9/17/06) there will be a 2nd Annual MPO Peter J. Lavery Memorial Bike Run from Maguires Sports Bar located at 3573 Berlin Turnpike. Newington, CT.
All law enforcement supporters on all makes of bikes are welcome with a donation of $20.00 requested per bike.
Registration is from 8am to 9:45am (with coffee and bagels, donuts etc. provided by Dunkin Donuts). The Police escorted ride starts at 10am and is expected to take aprx. 1 & 1/4 hours, ending back at Maguires for free food, live music and a cash bar (for those so inclined).
All proceeds will benefit the Peter Lavery Memorial Scholarship Fund to support men and women who choose a career in law enforcement.

**For those of you who don't know who Peter Lavery is he was a long time Newington Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty on New Years Eve a couple of years ago.**
