well, I have this up-comming week off, and thinking about going up to my families ranch. 84 east to biggs junction, cut up hwy 19 thru condon, then fossil, then spray, then kimberly, then ranch. about 250 miles there. neat run, but gotta keep the peeps out for deer and such. thinking on a butt ass early departure. any takers??

Hey Jeff,
Don't think I'll be able this week, but I checked out that route on the map...looks like some fun roads.
Maybe next time...I could come back through Madras-hwy26...that'ld make a nice day loop :)

What day are you leaving/returning?

hey Bruce - not sure what day yet. want some dry wheather, even though its an awflully large grid. I probably will do the loop though, the way back would run thru mitchel, prinville, madras like you said. im off all week, so departure is a crap shoot at this time.

Jeff

Are you planning to come back the same day or spend a night or so there?

same day ride im sure. they have paid hunters on the ranch this week, so I would just pop in, say hi, have a beer or two, then home

RRRRR...this trip is looking to good to resist :P
I'm off Wed & Thur...Wed looks like the better WX day.
What time did you want to leave from where?...Butt ass early's not a problem 8)

If your comming back though Prinville...Bend-Sisters-Salem is a cool alternate route, depending on time of day....Salem to 217 Tigard is little over a 1/2 hour...1hr to Banks.
