Hey Jax VTXers.

I'd like to have a new intake put on, perhaps Kury hi5, and perhaps Pair valve system removal. Though I am fairly mechanically inclinded, I have never worked on bikes.

Is there a local bike shop that would be reasonable as for getting the Kit, installing, and removal of Pair? Should I order the kit online?

Also with regard to the Pair Valve, I do have Cobra shorts ( with carb jet kit) and don't get popping when decelling, it just sounds like it is throttling down, but not a motor sound, more like air. YOu hear some big bikes and they sound like they rumble down (cam perhaps?).

Anyway, I just want to do some things to sweeten the ride. All help appreciated.

Talked to a couple nice guys at Buffalo's wed. It'd be nice to have a VTXOA group meeting(s) there sometimes.

I had my 1300S carb. tuned at Mild to Wild. Pricey, but who isn't. High Milers in Orange Park is supposed to be a decent guy. I have meet the owner but that is all. I am not so "bike" intellegent but I bought the service manual ($60) and with it I can and have done almost all the work on my bike.

I just put a hypercharger on and ordered the pair valve block off plates. My pair valve stystem is removed and the hypercharger wasnt too difficult to install either.
Im in for the meeting at Buffalos. I havent been there yet but would like to meet and shoot the breeze.

Tell me how and where to meet you. There are hundreds of bikes up there, kinda like finding a needle in the haystack.

I hope to be up there by 7:30 or so. Usually stay for an hour or so just walking and looking at bikes.
