Then do so. I spent about 30 minutes with Ken (sales manager) via phone yesterday discussing a kids bike. Great price. He's got an 04 1300 in the mid 7's with 38 miles on it. His philiosophy seems to be moving the bikes, not for eating your hotdog on. They're owned by the same folks that own champions yamaha on west 50. Also a great crew there. When I buy accessories there, I ask what's the best price, and I usually get a break.
Sorry about the shameless plug (and using this board to do so), but everyone STILL buys local as well as HDL.
I have grown tired of local places that won't serve, budge, or even smile while screwin' ya.

There Service is Way over priced and they tell U one thing and do another..
I would say "BEWARE" :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
But then again, we do Live in the US and are FREE to go were we like :D :D

Hey kevin, I reviewed my post and I just can't find the word service in it. As I spoke to LH's sales manager, I got the same "good" feeling I get from the champions guys. There are other places in orlando that don't give the feeling or the price that I was quoted. A new bike at an agreed upon price was my premise for originating this thread. Now go use the bathroom elsewhere and trade in the 1800 for a 1300 that doesn't need all that funky service with all those problems.

I have bought 3 motorcycles and 3 four wheelers from them in the past 3 years. I like the sales department. I usaually use Lucy in the parts department and she has always been great. Well the service department here we go. I went there with a battery problem the bike was only 6 months old. I did all the test before going there so I know the battery was bad. I got the run around finally JERRY said he was doing me a favor and had them put me a new one in. What kind of favor is getting something replaced that is under warranty anyway? Well I had to go back again. Brake fluid leaked out of the all stock brake resevoir onto my tank and messed the paint up. Well after about 3 weaks they got me a tank. Took it in for them to replace got a call a couple of hours latter the new tank had a dent in it so they put the old one back on. Next week they got another new one and put it on. I was happy about this. Well today i decided to do coil ground repair on the front coil. Had to pull the tank. What do I see under my seat 2 big scratches from them not knowing how to put a seat on properly. Then when I pulled the bolt out of the rear of the tank to remove it what do I find. One of the rubber bushings was missing. They cut a piece of rubber and used it as a spacer instead of replacing the one they lost. I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW WITH LEESBURG. I ordered the part Lucy said it will be in next week. When I go to pick it up I will be talking to Jerry. I am sure that he wont believe me though.

Dennis, So Sorry to Hear about your Bad Service.. I Personally Will Never Go Back to That Dealer. I will also do My Very Best to tell everyone of their Bad Pratice :evil: :evil:
As for their Sales, can't really say, When I wanted my Bike, they really did not want to talk, so I went Down South to Ft. Lauterdale (Spelling???)
and Saved Quite a Bit!! Lucy tries to help out but Her hands are Usually tied pretty Tight!!! HDL Has ALWAYS Beat their Price :D :D
Good Luck with them!! I would Recomend Performance Honda My Self..

Ok, Kevin after reading that painful story, your off the hook. Here's my deal.. XR80 for the kid @ $1588 with about $50 tacked on for various reasons. The sales manager lives in Longwood, so He's going to bring it to me this week. I called "other" local shops and heard "can't do that price, better grab it".
Isn't Honda warranty good @ any dealer? If you know the service sucks, shouldn;t you take it elsewhere? In orlando, I believe we have about 3 choices, not sure about wildwood (sorry, dude :( ). I have had reasonable service from both seminole and performance.
I just can't always take the attitude and prices presented.
If it is truly warranty, it shouldn't matter who gets it or am I wrong here?
