Well this was our first time at the Oyster Run. Thanks everyone for letting us join in the group ride there. My first group ride as well and had a great time. It was nice to meet everyone as well.
The way home well that was a bit of a different story. I was getting a bit ticked at some of the riders. I was fallowing my husband home and all of a sudden there would be a rider almost next to me. Then we saw an accident. Thank God it was a small one and no one was hurt. We came to a light that turned yellow. The 2 riders in the front were about to go through the light then changed thier minds and stopped, but the 3rd rider looks like he thought they were going through so gunned it and then realized they were stopping. The only thing the 3rd rider could do was to go through the light and right between the other 2 riders. when he did he got some mirrors and not sure what else. Just saw it and heard it as well. SCARY!!!! Thank God no one was hurt!!! Just some bikes that need some mending. I kept trying to stay a good lengh behind with all the bikers out there needed extra room to react if anything happened. The rest of the ride was good once we got the highway.

Lots of crazy riders there. There are just alot of people, so you really have to be careful.

Glad you guys had a good time. These events will make you appreciate the MSF course and the safety they teach. There is always someone that is going to do something stupid, the best training and practice will help you avoid them 8)

Hey all, my first as well. Absolutley had a great time with all of you! Matt, good to meet you there, and welcome! Met another X rider in the Buzz Inn in Mt Vernon last evening from Spokane. What a fun group of folks he was with!
Including the run with Randy and Tony up Mt Baker, 410 miles of pure heaven! Looking forward to next year!

Hey everyone,

This was my first oyster run also, and it was a blast.
So many bikes...
The noise was a little overwhelming after about 2pm, a constant roaring ruckus.
Cossacks were great though.
Turnout was awesome, and the ride up was fantastic.
I've got some pics of all that listed here:

I've also got some pics from the Pre-Oyster BBQ that are mixed in with these about in the middle.

Thanks for everyone for tagging along, and for the great run.
Looking forward to going on another run with the group, it was great.
