One of the things I wanted to do was get Scooter Shooter to put together a professional movie of the Labor Day event, made up of pics and movies that we all provided. He has begun the project and has a trailer to give everyone a "glimpse" of what to expect. It can be found at www.firstimpressionsmedia.com (http://www.firstimpressionsmedia.com) . Click on the Smokin' Trailer.

The final product won't be ready for a while, but when it is, I'll post information on how to get a copy. No, it won't be free, 'cause he will have a lot of time in on this project and that's what he does for a living. The cost will be $15 each. But when you consider a single photo on CD from any of the photographers at the Dragon is $10, it's a steal.

Anyway, stay tuned for more updates.

BTW, I'll begin burning CDs of the pics only in a week or so, so cend me a PM if you want one. If you're local, I'll probably deliver them at meet. If you're out of state, please give me your address so I can mail them.

I was very impressed with Yergi's ability to keep the sound of the pipes, and still have a sound track. Having smooth - non jumpy video helps too. I can't wait to see what a professional does!

I’ve been wanting a DVD of that too. This video is the closest thing to riding the Dragon yourself and just as exciting to watch... (well, almost.)
I watched (& studied) it several times the Fri night before I went to ride the Dragon for the 1st time last month, (Sept 17.)
For those that don’t ride… watching this video would be one heck of a ride and experience for them!
Great Job Rob, Mark, Terry & Paul!!!

Waiting with baited breath for both the CD and the DVD. Wish I was up there riding this weekend but I have been adjusting my bike such as shock tension and putting on a cyclegadget.com chrome mount for my 30 gig IPOD with Video so when I can't get an XM Radio riding in the tall trees in North Carolina I can switch over seemlessly to the IPOD.

Lookin good so far. Hated my camera picked up so much wind noise but I'm sure he can edit it out. We had another great time this weekend at FredFest06. Can't wait until we gather again in May!!!

Sorry I missed that Terry, but I did get my sahre of the twisties. Took US 178 north from SC11 to US-64, jumper over to NC 215 and took it all the way to US-76. What a great ride and almost NO traffic. And yes, NC-215 north or the BRP is a HOOT!

But damn, it was cold Friday evening...............

Hum, i wonder, is the mount for a 30 gig IPOD with Video different from a regular ipod mount?

I'm in for a DVD. Speaking of May, do we have dates yet? Fred said we needed to get booked.

Should be decided by the end of the month. If you have any ideas or suggestions, get them to me, Guitar4him or Scarecrow. Ken and John are meeting next weekend up in Franklin to put together some plans, don't know if I'll be able to make it or not, but will be helping put it together. Glad ya'll made it home OK. Wish I could've stayed another day.

Here's a link to photos I took at FredFest

It may be if the 30 gig IPOD is a different size than a regular IPOD because it slides in and then the top locks down on it to keep it from popping out.

I will probably take the cage to Franklin for the meeting. a) it gets dark before I can get home and it's cold in them thar hills and b) the weather forecasts are getting lousy and I don't riding in a cold rain (like last weekend). But I will be there Friday evening.
