Showtime & I are putting together a Grafton MO river area ride again.
we had a good time last time so we're doing it again...
DATE: October 15th
MEET TIME: 10:00am (ride out @ 10:30ish)
MEET AT: Earth City, MO. Mobile station @ Earth City expressway & HWY 70
The mobil station location is at Earth City expressway and Hy 70. From 270, head west on 70 towards St. Charles. Get off at Earth City expressway and go around the clover leaf and under Hy 70. The mobil station is on the right at the first stop light you come to. I will be there between 9:45-10:00 am.
Bring Cameras everyone! The colors hopefully should be pretty cool.
This ride will take us all out and through St. Abans, Mo, up and through Washington, Mo, and bring us back through old town St. Charles, Mo. We can either eat lunch at the Trail Head micro brewery in old St. Chuck, or we could press on from there to the Golden Eagle ferry and have lunch at a resturant at that ferry called Kinders.
After lunch, then we could continue to head towards the Brussles ferry in preperation to the final leg which would be the river road ride back into Alton, Ill. From there, we can split and I can bring home the Mo riders that are lost, and the Ill riders can head their way home.
This ride on the Missouri side of the river, is mostly country roads and some woods, some hills over looking bluffs, just back roads snakeing along the river heading into Washington, Mo. IE, Hy T, Hy 47, Hy 94.

I just did a Yahoo map of my ride to Earth city: DON't believe what it says...the mileage is on but the time is WAY off so don't let the time scare you...
