A month or so ago I found out the "Record Ride" wasn't actually a record. So that shirt is gone.

Today I see that Robinson is now in Southern Illinois. That pretty much makes the Central Illinois reservoir covers useless. And another shirt in the can.

What's next???

Still here... Just haven't cruised the board in a long time.

Wise Words from the Black Dawg:

If you run out of gas at 154 and 41. It is a downhill push from the intersection all the way to the pump at Sunoco.

I wanted BP gas, but thought I would look kinda stupid pushing a bike across highway 41.

I put 5.277 gallons in. I am calling Honda Monday. I want to know where the other .023 gallons were. :lol:

:lol: It was a record tee shirt sales ride :lol: We had a good time and the plant was something to look at, Spike made funny comments all day, it wasn't a total wash out, we rode with the INDYUCKY before there was INDYUCKY, the Amish food was good :lol: Marysville Honda had a nice store. Free kick stand plates. I got to check out the dual intake. BUT the best story was " ALLEY" by Matchstick, now that was worth MILLIONS! :lol: I don't think I will go back.

Now for the covers, A. you can consider them art B. you can put them on your bike. C. you can throw them away. I did C. along time ago.

Follower?? Hell yeah, guilty as charged!! We all are when we buy these VTX emblazened items. And because I am guilty of owning some of this stuff, It is fair game to poke fun at it. :lol: :lol: :lol:

You gotta admit that wearing a shirt comemorating a "Record Ride" that was never a record would be like wearing a shirt celebrating John Kerry's presidency.
