This is a good event for all types of motorcycles. Saw several VTX last year. Many vendors and great music and food.

NOW is the time to reserve a motel room in Starkville.

I was there last year on Sat. with my son. Are first trip on our VTX, as my son puts it. Rode up with a couple of friends from work (VTX 1300R & a Victory). My friends stayed for the music that night, but my son I came home that evening. It was a good time. My son had to explain why he had tire rubber all over his face from the burn out contest to his mother ( he had to sit up front, don't mind what dad said, 10 yrs old and into everything. But we have are first story of many happy one's on the VTX to tell. :D

I have been going to Sturgis, MS for the past 3 years and have had a great time. It is in the dead of summer, so it is VERY hot, but still fun. The best part for me was riding the Natchez Trace to whole way there.

Went to Sturgis last year, will go again this year. Loads of fun and a well organized rally. It's relly HOT that time of year but well worth it.

In fact, last year, I purposed in my heart to bring some shorts to change into once i got there. Walking around during the heat of the day in "biker gear" is the pits!

But it is a good time... interesting and not overly crowded, but still thousands there!

Had a good time there, there was three of us there on VTX's from Batesville. Two retro's one black and the other red and my black "C" model. very little rain and temp's was not to hot. A friend of ours riding a 250 Rebel, first rally and first poker run...Go figure he wins the $250.00 He told us he will put it back towards his VTX .Lots of good venders, they are getting just like everywhere else thou, prices were a little stupid in a few places. Over all very good rally I will be back next year.

Hey CM,
Just got back too. As usual, great rally, looking forward to next year. got there Monday before the rally and recorded some film of before, during, and after the rally-----great film. I have a buddy that lives in Batesville and during the course of the next month we will be coming to Enid Lake to camp with him for the "last blast".
