Several of our group rode up to the skyway yesterday. We came back home down 129, rode through a section between Blairsville and Cleveland. Man that stretch was a blast. It was just as much fun as the dragon to me...............The skyway was a blast to!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Turners Corner Cafe (at Us 19 and 129) is a grat spot to relax and hit 129 yet again!

Blood Mtn. is well liked by many. You missed quit a few others if you came straight down. Guess you'll just have to make another trip up here.

watch out for the police. they may be stepping up their presence on that section of 129. they got one of the guys that i was riding with. state patrol and very sneaky. we still can't figure out where he came from and that section of road has a 45 mph speed limit.

i guess 79 mph is strictly out of the question. wrote him up for 59 mph if that's any consolation.

Just a bunch of us that have vtx's ride together..... we got 5 1800c's......2 1300r's........... 1 1300c. We have a rew more that ride different types of bikes, anybody that wants to ride just meet up when it's time to leave, mostly on Sunday afternoons with a allday thing thrown in from time to time

Let me or Heartscrub know the next time that you decide to come up this way. That is just around the corner from our house. We would love to ride with ya'll. We ride just about every night for a least an hour or so up here and around Helen or Dahlonega. It's great up here and the weather has been excellent for driving. Just give us a holler a day or two before and we can get cell nbr out to you to contact us! Hope to meet up with you soon! Are you going to the Vortex Thursday? We'll be there! :D

hey warrior, what time and day did you see the gsp with those bikes. if it was sunday around 6:00 in the southbound lane a couple of miles from turner's corner.....that was us! :twisted:

Must have been you. We were a bunch of X's a shadow and a moto guzzi.
That was about the time we went through there.
