Just west of Dahlonega we had to stop for the local Emergency Crews and were told a Biker was killed when he crossed the double yellow line and had a head-on collision with a truck.
Saw the truck, too hard a hit to walk away from.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with his co-riders and family.

Hey! do you where and time of day west of Dal. . I was there yesterday. Met up with some HD. folks I know west of Cleveland and headed over to Ellijay via I think Hwy 52 .

But yea there were K's of bikes on the road.

One small lapse of concentration.

The accident was about 5 miles west of Dahlonega. Looked as though the rider was headed to Dahlonega. The time was around 4:30 PM.
I don't know if it was a Harley rider or not, The Emergency crews gave little information and the bike was pretty well mangled..at least the small part we saw. The fellows that were stopped were Harley riders.

We were in a cage at the time. It was ironic because we went to the area to pick up a small bike for my wife to learn on, thought the wreck would change her mind about learning to ride but, when we got home she put her helmet on and rode it in our neighborhood.

Guess that shows you have to put every experience in life in it's proper perspective. The rider hat died had crossed the double yellow line.
The surest formula for a serious problem.

Again, our prayers are definitely with his family and friend.
