He couldn't let me be the only one here with two horses in the stable.... We just got back from the dealership (I needed a new tire on my 599.. hit something in the road yesterday.... with less than 200 miles on it!!).... and he's getting a Black 2006 VTX 1800 N spec 3.... to be delivered next week!!! So, I hope I ordered enough patches! hehe (Bardo, pink balls for this bike, ya think??) So, a warm welcome to the oldest, newest member of the club! (He finally came around.... ;) )
My X is still in the shop... they thought it was one of the ignition coils, ordered that, it still wouldn't fire. So, they ordered a ECM (Whatever that is...) Still won't fire. Now they think it's some ignition pulse controller.... I visted her in the shop... she was so lonesome looking... and she got pissed when she heard that I was taking the new baby up to the mountains, to the twisties, this weekend!! I'm enjoying this fast little bike to throw around, but I'm really in the mood to get there slow and loud.... I miss my X!!! (My back will be missing it too, after 350-400 miles on the 599!!)

Well Dan, I was a member but not an X rider.. But now I have both the X and the Wing... So Im ready for what ever comes along... The Wing still goes to the mtns though... just cant beat it there or long road trips.

As for patches, I believe Bardo has extras of the Spike patch and it looks like I may extras of the original Georgia patch (several payments not received yet :evil: ).

BW welcome to the dual ownerships! We like the X but you really can't be the Wing in the mtns and long hauls. We just got our Wing 2 weeks ago today. Sweet! But I do miss the X. Would love to meet you and Trixie. Are you going Thursday? :?: :?
Well I sure messed that up! You can't beat the Wing in the mtns. But, we still ride the X from time to time. Hope to meet you soon :)

Congrats on the X BW. The N is the better looking of em all I think. Now the chrome balls. Whats this about the weekend mountains??? Are ya'll meeting up with Hotfix on the 22nd???

Kbear we'd love to do the Vortex sometime but its just to long of a hual for us. I love my wing but wanted something I could just scoot around here on and short rides down here. I've had my Wing for almos 11months now and have almost 19,000 miles on it. You guys are gonna love that thing. The X is going to be a fun diversion for me and a hell of a good looking bike.
Bardo we're heading up to the mtns of Va. Trixs gonna trailer her 599 up and give it a break in on some twisty roads up there. your welcome to tag along... You already have blue balls so you can't get in that much more trouble!
Kwa... We all know that black is faster!

My hubby (Black Wing-Marty) has had his since 11/18/05 (it's an '06), and he will have over 19,000 by the time we get back from the mountains this weekend!! He says he won't bring the X to the mountains unless I trailer it!! HA! If I'm trailering, I will bring both of my bikes so I have the choice of what to ride, not him! hehe
I wish we could come Thursday, but we will be in VA by then, plus, we are on the coast, so it's like a 4 hour drive for us, on a "good Atlanta traffic day" HAHA. Hopefully, we can meet y'all up at the KSL in the Spring! Enjoy your Wing!! Did ya get the heated seat/grips package?? I love that!!

I have been having such a craving for brownies all day now!! After I picked up my son at school, I went to the coffee shop next door.... and they were out!!! First time I have ever been in there that they didn't have them! Needless to say, I have been salivating at the thought of brownies ever since! IF we weren't leaving tomorrow to go out of town until late Sun., I would make my own pan tonight!!!!

Speaking of CHOCOLATE I am a CHOCOHOLIC and I am eating a chocolate covered OREO cookie with chocolate imported from Belgium which is the #2 Rated Chocolate in the world. I have them UPS me a box of 60 cookies the first of every month from Park City, Utah where I go skiing.
SINFUL but GREAT especially with a bowl of Breyer's French Vanilla Ice Cream. Hey where's my ice cream??? I forgot to get a bowl. Damnit!!!

Well, BlackWing welcome to the official VTX board and I am unofficially "SILVER WING" because of all the crap I have on my bike such as Autocom Intercom, Garmin GPS with XM Radio, 30 gig IPOD, plus MC Cruise Control along with lots of CHROME, yes I am a CHROME WHORE and proud of it!!!

XXX nothing wrong iwth being a chrome whore.... Im a card carring member of the Gold Wing Bling Bling Assocoation.. (dam thats a mouthful)
I got trix farly well chromed up and so will the 1800 X now... already got it on order.. Not going for all the other stuff though. Its not going to be long distance bike for me. Thats what the wings for! :pepper1:
