52,300 mi. {11/2009} removed the PAIR valve system and installed block off plates. Changed oil/filter - Mobil1 4T full syn.

Changed oil(26500) and filter and reinstalled battery on Friday, the 16th. Fired her up and rode about 30-35 miles. just putted. Nice out, 50+*, Sat 17 Feb. 2007

Ordered a set of the new drag pipes by Hacker Performance Exhaust, from KewlMetal. Soon as they arrive, they're off to be ceramic coated... yeehaw! :D

Installed the Hacker Performance exhaust, ceramic coated in satin dark blue, today. The install was very easy. Relocated the regulator 90* and mounted it to the cross member below the swingarm pivot, directly behind the coolant overflow tank. The look is wayyy cool, but the sound is intimidatingly impressive! VERY loud with a deep, low rumbly tone.
Began the curing process(of the ceramic coating) with a 30-35 minute ride, taking it very easy. No indication of hotspotting. 2 more full heat/cool cycles and then can do a full power run. Rejet and K&N filter next.

26,690 mile serv ice included the following:
1. carb rejet using a Dynojet kit. Installed a 195 main jet.
2. valve adjust
3. install stock replacement K&N air filter in the stock air box
4. install new spark plugs
5. cleaned crankcase breather tube

Notes: After the install of the Hacker pipes and the above mods, overall impression is very favorable. Much improved upper RPM throttle response, good to unchanged part throttle performance, and only a minor loss of low RPM torque, hardly noticable.

July 24th, 2007... 30,360 miles changed oil and filter today... Pro Honda 10w-40 syn-blend & Honda oil filter
Having new tubes/tires, OEM Dunlops again, mounted front and rear on Friday, July 27th, 2007- 30,365 miles total

August 21, 2007 = 34025 mile oil change. Replaced with 4 qts of ProHonda HP4 10w-40 and a Bosch 3323 oil filter. Also swapped Final Drive lube. Replaced with 4.1 oz's of AmsOil full synthetic 75w-90 gear oil. Added 1.5 oz's of Lucas fuel system cleaner to full tank of fuel. 8)

17 Feb. 2008 - 34,800 miles. Reinstalled the battery and fired up the bike this afternoon. Put about 25 miles on her, puttin around the valley. Great day, sunny, 50*... sweet 8)

05/04/2008- 35,485 mi. Changed the oil and filter. Put in 4 Qts. of Mobil 4T 10W-40 full synthetic MC oil and a Bosch 3323 oil filter. Immediate improvement in motor noise, shifting and performance.

getting close to the end of the 08 riding season... and just cracked 44163 miles on my baby. Other then routine maintanence and tires, I have "HAD" to change one headlight bulb, the bright element burned out, and one 1157 running light/turn signal bulb. I'm running on the original battery! And it's STRONG!! I love my Honda! 8)

November 30th and it was 55*!!! Got a good 50 miler in on Sheila, then filled her tank, treated it with SeaFoam, and changed her oil and filter. Did not pull the battery yet, but it can't be long... 2008 was a great, true 10,000 mile year.

Removed her battery today... might be snow this week. Battery is still strong as ever; on the tender now. Nov of 07 had 34,800 mi; Nov of 08 had 44,813 miles... a true 10,000 mi season.:D

replaced rear brake pads at 50,350 mi. easy cheesy japaneese.

rebuilt the vacume petcock as per the Houghton Mod by reversing the diaphram spring so it is now gravity fed only. Easy and a total fix for that issue. took about 15 min. and a cresent wrench and small screw driver.:thumbup:
