Hello to all. I have been a member for about 2 months now. I spend
most of my time on the main Message Board. The reason I put this
post up was so I could get to Know some of the other VTXer
in my area. I have had my VTX1800 for about 2 and half years now.
Went thru alot of other bikes before I found one I was happy with
the VTX was it for me ,but if I had the money I would have two
or three of every kind. Maybe I will get a chance to meet some
of you on a ride someday.

someday or atleast somewhere closer to the coast than I do now.
Sorry it took so long to relpy but my Wife had the computer tided-up

I live in Irmo, and routinley ride to Union on my bike to visit relatives. Maybe we'll run into each other some time.

Hey davemack is there any good riding going up the coast in NC.
I have never went past north Myrtle Beach at least on the coastal area.
I have rode back and forth from Myrtle Beach to Charleston.

in good place not too far from me . I am about 1 and a half hours

in good place not too far from me . I am about 1 and a half hour
from Lake Murray at the most.

north west of Columbia

With my old job, I had more flexibility in my work schedule, and could sometimes "sneak out" around 3 pm, so I would ride to Union if I got the urge, especially during the summer. However, with my new job, I'm never home before 5:30 pm, so I won't be coming up during the week any more.

I'm up there a good bit on Sundays, to visit my Aunt in Oakmont Nursing Home. However, my wife won't ride the bike if it's less than 70 degrees, so it'll take a perfect match of a 70 degree day on a Sunday before you'll see my bike in Union. Do you live anywhere Oakmont?

Hi Ralph,

Union is a nice town. I grew up in Laurens and the Laurens co-op poker run pathed thru Union 2 years ago.

All of us SC boys need to meet up sometime.

I stay local most of the time. But I've had the chance to run up to Wilmington NC along 17 and another time to Beaufort, that's about the extent of it for me. But anytime you want to plan something out this way just PM me. I'd have to buy a map i get lost real easy. lol
