We have offered the Ride and Raft Trip for the last two years, 2007 will make number three. It has been a very popular ride for us and last year Git R Done - Eric had such a good time on the Ride that he would like to do an expanded version this year.
We are still going to do this ride Wednesday July 4th but Git R Done was thinking of making this an OVERNIGHT RIDE. Two FULL days, riding the river and hiking the back country of Colorado.
As the rafting company puts it .... "Spend quality time hiking an Arkansas River Valley mountain trail, take in the views of the nearby Collegiate Peaks, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet that only a remote riverside campsite can offer. Relax as guides take over day-to-day responsibilities and delight you with delicious meals. By choosing a Multi-day rafting excursion, you will witness some off the lesser-seen sections of the Arkansas River, some of the most pristine wilderness in all of Colorado."
The dates will probably be Friday June 29th, and Saturday June 30th so you can be back in Denver for the Meet and Greet Dinner Saturday evening. Cost for the Custom two day trip is $310 or for the Deluxe two day trip is $395 and no, I'm not sure what the difference is between custom and deluxe ... YET.
