That jman53718's daughter has her heart surgery. She's only 6 months old and has a hole in her heart that will be repaired. Please keep little Delaney in your thoughts and prayers, especially on the 21st when the procedure will be performed.

Thanks everybody!

I found a prayer.......well I just thought it would help.

Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather the lambs in your arms and carry them in your bosom: We commend to your loving care this child Delaney. Relieve her pain, guard her from all danger, restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise her up to a life of service to you. Hear us, we pray, for you dear Name's sake. Amen.

Hey Jason, even the folks on the Volusia board are sending karma and prayers for Delaney.

What did Heavymetalman call them, the little 805cc mosquitos (or something like that )

Well guys we are finally caught up on some sleep although still very tired. Delaney is doing very well and has had most of the tubes and IV's removed. She is really starting to look and act like our little again. It's hard enough to express enough gratitude to all of you for all of the suppport that you have provided through this very difficult time.

We (Abby, Delaney and myself) would like to wish you all a VERY VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! We got the greatest gift of all....we got our little back all healthy and fixed up. We hope you all have a very special time with your families this Holiday and be sure to tell them how much you love them every chance you get. Even though they may be trying at times Reaper  .

Thanks again for all of the prayers and support.

Hope you all get to meet my family sometime in the somewhat near future and you all truly are the GREATEST.

I am so happy for you bro, and not afraid to tell you my family shed some tiers for you, and your little girl. It was very hard to hear about, and not feel your heart sink. My little one can try me all she wants, her Daddy will be at her side for life, not just till 18, and she can make all the mistakes she wants, and I will be there to help her, we talk every night, just me and her, I dont ever let her forget how proud of her I am. I hope you and your wife get some relaxing time this holiday, and enjoy it together.

We need a update :D
How was Christmas?

jman53718

Well X-mas was spent in the ICU so not too exciting. Delaney was visited by Santa at both the hospital and the Ronald McDonald house where we stayed. Let's just say that they treat the kids very well this time of year.

We didn't get home until Tuesday night and the little one is finally getting back into her old routine. It is truly amazing how she has recovered from the surgery. She has a lot more energy, has better skin color, and man-o-man does she eat a lot more. All very good things.

Needless to say I didn't ask for anything this year for X-mas due to the fact that I was only concerned about one thing. I really did get the best gift of all. I got my little girl back all fixed up and more healthy than ever.

I really want to thank you all for the support and encouraging words over this very stressful time. I believe that I have cried more in the past weeks than I have in my entire life.

Hope you all had a wonderful X-mas and have a great New Year as well. I hope to see you all soon, and take care.

Love,
Abby, Delaney and Jason
