Hey, Dave:

My high school reunion (approx 500 couples) is having an event in MB Sat May 19. Do you mind if they drop by?

Thanks,
Eddie

Read more closely - I said 500 COUPLES. My high school graduating class was over 500 members, and they'll all be bringing their spouse. Besides, I feel quite confident that they'll eat several cheesesteaks apiece, so we're probably talking 3000 or 4000 cheesesteaks.

I'll help cook, if you can't keep up.

Start to finish I did about 50 in a half hour a few weeks ago. Cooking by myself.

ok that will take only 10 hours to complete with 3 cooking on the griddle at the same time, 5 hours if I have both griddles going at the same time.

Any questions?

and i can cut that time in half, if I use the stove top with 4 of my big cast iron pans!!!!

4000 cheese steaks 2 and a half hours if I had tooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any more questions?

Are you paying the bill for 4000 cheese steaks? that will be $32,000.00

and change for plain only

Maybe my definition of "steak sandwich" is different than yours. To me, a steak sandwich is a 2-inch thick, medium-rare, NY Strip or Ribeye on a hoagie bun, so it wouldn't need any topping. That's what I promised my high school reunion crowd, so I hope you don't let them down.
