cobra slip ons

Anyone in the lafayette,B.R. Lake Charles area have cobra slach cut slip ons on their vxt 1300. I like the look and price of them, have read positive feedback on them from owners, but havent heard them in person...... I am in lafayette with a blurple retro 1300, have drilled holes in back exhaust plates, and punched out baffles but want more sound from this machine.. Is there a bike night in the L.C. or BR area, I usually make the lafayette honda dealers on Saturdays at lunch.

You should read reviews from the owners here in the tech section - there are a LOT of threads mentioning how poor the quality is.
Just an FYI - check it for yourself.

Howdy neighbor.
You ever get out to the bike night at Wranglers? it's either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. I ever get a day home in the middle of the week we will check it out also. We just saw it last weekend in either the Thunder Roads or Full Throttle mags.
Also, there is a bike night in Lake Charles once a week. Don't remember the details tho.

Ever get by Full Moon? Bill is a good friend of mine. Good people.
Maybe we can ride sometime

Wranglers is in Carencro across from the old sale barn, at the intersection of Gloria Switch and University. I just sold my 1300 which had the Cobra Classic Deluxe Slashcut to a lady who lives in Lafayette. Her and her husband ride with my wife and I, maybe we could all hook and so you could hear her bike. Her husband also has a 1300, but he has the Cobra Drag pipes on his bike. I really like the sound of her bike, even better than the sound of my Vance and Hine Bigshots on my 1800NEO. I think I have quiet baffles which I hope to change very soon!!
