So where's our buddies from Arizona so we can give them a hard time? Appears they got up to 12" of snow in parts of Arizona....... :lol:

I doubt they got any snow where they are. I know at my dad's place up near Flagstaff/Winslow they quite a bit most years. That region is Elk country and home the world record largest Elk ever shot with modern rifle 8) Not all of AZ is desert :wink:

BTW, I was 21 years old before I moved out of my home state of AZ. Go Sundevils :lol:

Tucson and Phoenix both got snow.

Yes, it is true, there was snow all around the valley. Alittle in Phoenix, alittle in parts of Tuson, I hear and all gone in about an hour or two. It has been unseasonably cool, like 37 am and 55 high.(norm. about 45 and high 70) but we were in Quartzsite the last six days and it was not to bad, 60 degrees high and 40 in the am. It did poor down rain one day(Fri. and 48 high) but today I moved back to Wellton (just out of Yuma 30 miles east) and it got to 70 and no wind very nice right now and for a couple days!!! Arizona is all about "ELEVATION" if you stay in and around Yuma area 100- 800 El. you have the best weather,if you get up to Flag 7000 ft. you get cold winters, Tucson is a high desert at about 2500 ft and Phoenix is the desert vally aroud 1800 ft. el. and very mild winters, nornally... My mom lives in Tucson and it is the first time in 14 years they got snow in the city. And the news out of Phoenix is saying the coolest Jan. on record... Still not to bad... Hi to all and see you in the spring... We are suffering... only got about 700 miles on the VTX so far,but Feb. on is normally greatand in the 70ies!!! :wink: Ed&Leslie 8)
