Nah, he didn't get the bike(s) over here. The parts of the X haven't come in yet. I'm going to call and check on the order today.
He's not taking the Harley, so no need to work on that.
I gotta order some more stuff for my X though.

You got a little done today - thanks! Did you figure out how to flip that speedometer? We need to buy the parts for the fuel pump mod and the seat bolt mod. Let's get that done soon.

Went down yesterday to look and he's got about half the pieces primed. He said they should be done this week (but that might be early next week too). I told him to do it in his spare time, so he'd give me a break on the price. I'm hoping to save a dollar three eighty.

Don, wish we were closer or had more time together. I'm just starting to tear my bike down into a million pieces to rebuild it from the ground up the right way :D I'd still love to hook you up with some risers like the ones I made for my bike.
See you this weekend I assume?

George,
Thanks brother. I wish we were closer too. I'll be making more changes next winter. 80dtylord is doing most of the work for me. I'm not changing the risers, but I might next year. This year I'm adding some new handlebars and we'll see where we go from there as far as the risers go.
I think 80dtylord might want new risers, but don't help him much, his bike is already pretty sweet.

Hehehe, you know I'm in the buisness of helping folks, can't help it. Are you coming up for the leadership meeting this weekend? I hope so, it'll be good to see you.

Most of Cheyenne isn't coming up Friday. Janet & I will be coming up Saturday morning early. I have to leave up there by 3 PM because I'm speaking down here Saturday night at our church.

Cobra is awsome on the 1300. Sounds a lot better than the HK's (which I loved until I heard the cobras) They are just a deeper tone than any other pipe I've heard on the 1300's plus they have a lifetime warrenty. The crossover (powerport is what Cobra calls it) actually smoothed out the low end a bit. I don't know that it gave it more power as advertised, but it does pull smoother down low and not as jerky. This makes it SEEM to pull stronger.
I had the HK's on for a year, rode 8000miles and on my way back from Cheyenne's toy run they craked in three places!!! HK said my warrenty was up and they couldn't help me. The Cobras are great and if they do break they shoudl be covered by their lifetime warrenty.
