View Full Version : 1st Annual VTX Rally

The 1st Annual VTX Rally willl be held June 1 - 2, 2007 in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Rt. 66 Motorcycle Classic in Rolla, Mo. The event will feature an all bike motorcycle show with a VTX specific class (1300 and 1800). There will be scenic rides, poker runs, food, beer garden, a vendor midway, a Rolling Thunder Parade w/ VTX only section, live music, bikini bike wash, rodeo games and many other attractions. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics - Missouri.

I'M IN, BUT I WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU, WITH MY BAD BACK I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE MY TIME. I COULD RIDE DOWN WITH YOU BUT WOULD HAVE TO TAKE MY TIME COMING HOME. EITHER THAT OR I WILL TRAILER HALF WAY AND RIDE HALF WAY.

Its an easy ride if you just blast down the big slab.

An alternative would be to head down the Great River Road to St Louis.

I WILL START WORKING ON MY 16 FOOT TRAILER I BOUGHT. I NEED TO BUILD SOME RAMPS AS I HAVE DUAL SIDE OPEN DOORS IN THE REAR AND A DOOR IN THE FRONT. WE COULD GET A FEW BIKES IN THERE WITH NO PROBLEM. WILL HAVE TO BUILD SOME WHEEL LOCKS.WOULD BE GREAT FOR GOING TO LAS VEGAS AS WELL.

JUST IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER.I HAVE A 16 * 8 FOOT ENCLOSED TRAILER. I THINK WE CAN GET 5 OR 6 BIKES IN THERE. AND I WILL BE BUYING A FORD 3/4 TON CREW CAB THAT WILL PULL IT WITH A BREEZE.

What month are we talking about here going to Vegas? I'm not sure how much time I can get off work, but I can put my bike in the trailer and fly down and meet you 8)

Getting it painted is not the problem... the problem is X'N! He keeps sending me PM's on new ideas and new colors to try powder coating. So far I've spent the winter changing my mind :roll:

I have a good size order coming next week so things will speed up.

I guess it's not all X'Ns fault, I just decided last week I was going to get "phat"

they are coated, but not mounted. working on a few more items first :D You gonna unwire your old bars?

#1 I CAN HAVE ONE OF MY GUYS DRIVE THE BIKES OUT THERE AND THEN WE CAN FLY. WE CAN FLY FOR AROUND $200 RT!
#2 WE CAN DO A COMBO AND DRIVE SOME AND RIDE SOME.

I FAVOR THE FLYING JUST FOR THE TIME ISSUE BUT I CAN DO WHATEVER.

I f I get my bike down there, I want to do some real desert riding. I rented a V-rod in Vegas once and rode around the city for a couple hours. Yawn.
