 Last Thursday I put two new tires (including a monster looking car tire for the rear) on my Valk which requires the brakes to be loosened. Stupid me forgot to pump them back up before rolling the bike out of the garage with me sitting on it. When it started rolling down the drive, it got to be too much to handle and I dropped it before it rolled out into the street. Looks like about $500 in damages. I am currently waiting for parts from a couple of friends plus some from Des at Ultimate and Honda Direct Line. My credit card is so hot I can't touch it again for a couple of months! Hoping to have it back in shape within the week.

EasyRider, you gotta know the Valk is my baby. She's been awfully good to me for the last 49000 miles. Got 3 pcs put back on and waiting on HDL for the rest of the stuff. Hoping to see the Engine Guard Thursday.
btw, I got this EZRider in my den: http://www.michalopoulos.com/BIGRIDEthumb.jpg

:D Finally got my last part (engine guard) today. Celebrated by riding to Mississippi to visit an old friend. Had not seen him in almost a year. He rides a Wing. At least he did ride a Wing until the lawyers sent spies taking pics and took his disability away. Now he's fighting them and no riding until its settled. Aint that something, they say he could work if he could ride. He broke his back a few years ago and lives on pain meds and never rides more than twenty minutes at a stretch. :(

I promise you aint the only one to do that, my twin brother did that and his drive way wasn't down hill and he was able to stop it. The only reason he didn't end up in the street was he touch the brakes before he got there and then went into panick mode. We all learn things by mistakes, just be glad it didn't cost you more because the brown truck doesn't bring more skin and hide. hahaha Glad ya' got your baby back and rolling with style.

Don't worry, Bobby. This is an old posting. Bike and me are fine. Getting a rear brake caliper from a VRCC member in Georgia to replace mine. Still brakes ok but one caliper piston is not working like it should causing the brakes to wear unevenly.
