That trip was a blast. Everyone was a great. It was good to see everyone again and meet the new riders. We could not have asked for a better weekend. Great job Skinny. The ride home was awesome. I just wish we had been at a hotel that was little quieter. Here I was in my room trying to rest and meditate and there was this loud group of bikers hanging around outside making noise until all hours of the night and then revving up all those d@mn motorcycles in the wee hours of the morning ... D@MN BIKERS!!! All I can say is I would ride with you guys anytime.

Besides my face being a bit burnt, It felt great seeing and meeting everyone this weekend. The weather was great, and the riders were loud, which is all we ask for. I was a bit upset with the Sunday morning noise in the Parking lot myself

Very much looking forward to riding with you all on the Galena ride. I am sure the weather will be very nice for some long rides on the Saturday trip in Galena.

I hope to have some type of calendar on the website shortly, with the coming events.

Yea to Skinny, Scott, Walberto, Warden (I vote her chairman emeritus of the Wis. VTXOA board of directors), and all (Riley and ANV1L, Woot and others who couldn't make it) who are doing such great work for our group. I had a blast, just wish I was feeling better. Last time I get three hours sleep before a long ride!

Thanks to Mike for letting me try out his Ultimate Bigboy, I'm making the Ultimate Bigboy my next project. I also want to thank Mike and Kate for the run to Devils Lake.

Thanks to Lee and June for the terrific restaurant Saturday evening in Baraboo, YUM!

Sunday breakfast was OK, I didn't have the hashbrowns! Enjoyed having Bob up for the morning, glad you could make it. Did you get your break-in miles yet?

I did the Miramac Ferry, then the back roads down to Bopp's in Harvard for a burger 'n beverage, then back into Mt. Prospect around 8:00 - it was one hell of a ride!

I'm a little sore  , just need to get that new seat.

All right, finally have some time to post. I've been working my a$$ off trying to make up the money I spent on the wife's meals and sodas this weekend. Who woulda thought a cup of soup could be so expensive. Man, she can eat!

We had a great time with everyone and are looking foward to Galena. We will not be able to make the trip to the races. I've already talked to 3 more new VTXers about the trip and pointed them to this site. Hopefully we can get 50+ people for the ride.

Thanks for the memories. (Now if I can just push them out of my mind, I'll be able to sleep again)
