If so, what did you think? What did you like?

I, myself, really liked the M109R Candy REd, I think that if I were to trade my VTX for something else, it would be the M109R Candy Red, with saddle bags and a windshield. I really dug the black one they had on dispaly, and having taken my bud's M109R for a ride last year, well, lets just leave it at that.

It was a good show. Here are some pics of some of the things that I liked:

I liked the engine on the world's fastest motorcycle (350+ MPH)

I liked the old bikes that Indian Larry built. Lots of personality in there:

I liked the workmanship on what might possibly the world's most unridable bike, but an incredibly beautiful one:

And finally, I like that I picked up the chock I spent the year regretting I didn't get at last year's show. There is a quick-release attachment for the trailer so that I can use it in the garage, and then quickly attach to the trailer for trips with the family where mama-bear doesn't want to drive herself

You mean that you took pictures of this "motorcycle" and you didn't get any shots of the chicks right across the aisle!

H.B. I got that same Condor wheel chock. It works GREAT! I use it in the
garage all the time, and when I want to trailer it, the adapter is mounted
on the floor. It takes just a few seconds to mount in the trailer and away
you go! I have to pick up another one for the wifes bike.

My girlfriend, and I decided to go on Friday night at 4p. There wasnt a huge crowd. We were able to look at all the bikes, with not a lot of people around. I like going on Friday opposed to Sat or Sun.

Ken, there are a lot of great reviews on the board about that chock. I think I'm going to like it. :D

Jim, if I had taken the shot that you suggest (and others like it such as the Coyote Ugly girls who were wandering about), I would have needed to 'splain to my wife  Not a good plan as I like to keep my bike dent-free

Hey MonsterVTX- nice seeing you guys down there yesterday- We ran into Lee and June who live in Oconomowoc and talked about some rides for this upcoming summer. Nice day.

The posts above with the pics are as if you downloaded them out of my camera, lol

Does anyone have a BIG resolution pic of the Vincent engine in Mat Hotch's chopper? Mine turned out blurry.

As far as the bikes- I still am *this* close to changin to a BMWK1200S, but Holly is now in love with the BMWK1200LT- which I like too, but it is expen$ive and I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for the full-touring rig.

Sat on the new Victory tourer- (not sure of the name) Um.....
It IS a big bike- I think the tallest guys are going to be amazingly comfortable on it- I'm 6'7" and never felt so small on a bike. Windshield seems about 6 feet in front of you when you're sitting on it. Luggage capacity seems good/excellent.
Styling? Um.... well it's subjective, but I don't care for it. It's like they had a designer doing a great job on it, but then never told him to stop when they should have. Just my $.02.

I've ridden the Goldwing, which is a big bike, but actually feels small to me when you're sitting on the seat and underway. I can't imagine the new Victory bike EVER feeling small. I think I'd be extremely comfortable on it on an extended trip, but I'd have to get past the looks, and I'm not sure on this, but if they stay with the 16XXcc air-cooled engine, it aint gonna be a powerhouse no matter how many speeds it has.

I was disappointed that Triumph and KTM didn't show this year. Wanted to see the KTM 950 supermoto and superduke II.

Also would have liked to see the Ducati Hypermotard prototype.
The new Ducati 1098 sure is georgeous.
