On KTHV they are talking about Senator Hendren getting death threats over the bill. So, is the bill dead or not???????????????

Believe it's dead. It was SB 40, it was read twice, sent to committee where it was defered. Believe that was on the 10th.

the night it aired I believe they said it was voted 6-2 against, now I dont much about the different levels of government all I know is they reported it as defeated. Hendren stated that he only tried to get it changed so as to keep us motorcyclists around longer. He also stated that me may change it up and ask that a safety course be taken if a rider is to ride without a helmet, which that might not bother me. Later, Dave

The safety course comment is Hendren's attempt to save face :oops:

He knows he likely flushed any aspirations of holding statewide office right down the drain.
