Hi everyone,

WOW !! What a great time in Hubbard Park. Awsome weather, great people and some very Sweet rides. Thanks to all of you for making our first meet and greet a HUGE success.
I would like to apologize to those of you at the Blessing on Sunday. Apparently the two riders who knew where they were at did not here me say we needed to stop in Litchfield center. I hope your ride was safe. It was another awsome day for it.

Business! Business! Business!

I believe the Group conscience was, We Need a Patch. There were many ideas tossed around at the meeting on Saturday. If anyone has already worked up an idea please send your thoughts or post them on this site for feedback. I will be working on two of the ideas, both will have the VTX mask an X, flames (some where) and Connecticut X Riders. The differences will be, one will have a state seal (Maybe) and the other will have the shape of Connecticut.

As I am checking for a jpg. of the CT State Sheild I ran across this minor problem.

"The official arms and seal of the State of Connecticut, whether as a reproduction, imprint or facsimile, shall be made and used only under the direction and with the approval of the Secretary of State. (see disclaimers)"
I really don't want to fight this battle !! Anyone for a joust?

* I see us growing in numbers !! How do we proceed? DO we want to be an organized riding club with dues, officers, bylaws and the whole bit with an emphasis on safety and fun?
Or do we want to be an informal group of riders who want to ride emphasis on safety and fun?

Ok that is enough for now DON'T CHA Think !!

Looking for a Volunteer !! Who wants to plan the next meet and greet for June? and WHERE? Let us know who the lcuky person or people will be.

Thanks to all

Steve, no biggie on missing us Sunday. We kind of figured some kind of snafu happened. I have the second and fourth weekend open in June. That is the 2 weekends Tammy and I do not have the six pack at home. Let me know when the Mrs posts the pictures she took Saturday. I agree we need to have some officers for the group, but let's see what kind of reply the other members post and go from there. Spanky has a connection if we come up with a mottif and want them put to T- shirts. Talk later and maybe we can do lunch again soon.

It was a great day. Informal group with rides posted and gatherings sounds good to me.

Look forward to a June meet. My knee jerk is to keep it simple and informal, however I'd join if a more organized club was the consensus. Don't want to be thrown out though if sometime in the future I trade my X for a Wing. Ride safe everyone....

Steve, had a great time Saturday at Hubbard Park. Looking forward to a June meeting. Informal or organized count me in.
Thanks once again for getting all this going in CT

Thanks for getting this going, informal or organized count me in, there are pros and cons on both. The main thing is to ride safe and have fun. I do think we need a patch. Looking forward for a meet on June.

Steve;

Wondered if anyone would be interested in a ride to upsate NY in June. We go to a great little sandwhich place in Bangdal(spelling), NY. It is very near to the last residence of James Cagney (my bride has always been a big fan). This ride and the scenery thru western CT and NY are beautiful. It is in the horse country west of Millerton, NY. The ride is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from Southington, CT; with about an hour for lunch and other stops making it about 6+ hours roundtrip. We could set up a centralized meeting place and make a day trip. Let me know.
