good evening. I'm usually the one ranting about snow and ice, but my dual sport is a little banged up from my mega crash and my VTX is totally dismembered so I'm stuck driving around my truck, good thing I love my truck.

Yesterday I started the day by going down to one knee on the ice on my driveway. I made Janet wait until I'd salted it before she came out. By lunch time, it was riding weather - a balmy 40 degrees. I didn't even put a neckscarf on.

Today it's already almost 40. I'm going to run Janet to work and find time to take the flat off her car and still do some riding. Work? Work??? Oh yeah, I've gotta find some time for that crap too.

Man, I need to at least fix my dirt bike so I have something to ride until I get my X back together.

Hello, just didn't want you talking to yourself. I just got back in from Cheyenne last night, had to pick up my little bro from the airport and take him to check in at his reserve station (Naval Master at Arms) and drive back. Stinkin snow almost all the way down and crazy stupid wind all the way back, but hey, that's Wyoming. :D

I should be picking up the paint for my X next week when I get paid, now that I have free labor around to help out with it thigns should go rather quickly.

Man, I hope you're feeling better by now. My trip was OK, but as Wyoming would have it I had a nice heavy headwind on the drive down and the wind changed while I was there so that I had a small headwind on the way back. Cut my mileage down in my truck to around 18mpg (running 85 didn't help that either :D )

Get well soon, it'll be riding weather before you know it.

Enjoyed Phoenix - did you know that at sea level the VTX 18 doesn't even need wings in order to achieve take off? With my 400 on top of it, I could almost lift the front-end in 2nd!!!

Got back late last night to a clean garage, thanks to the wife. I'm guessing 80dty helped a little too.

Anyway, now we need to finish some of what we didn't get done and do the clutch on Nunya's and start on my '73 CB450's front end and ...

The garage looks real nice right now --- it has three VTX's in there. The only thing that would make it better is if they were all mine!! :lol:
