The Bike is Done

Shawn is making a couple of last minute adjustments. Then he's going to do an oil change and declare it ready to go. We'll take pictures tomorrow and I'll post them in this thread.

We didn't get all of the changes made that I was looking for. You know how customizations go. A couple of things we'll do after the Phoenix trip next week. A couple of other things we'll get done before summer and there are several more things I'm looking to do next winter.

This bike is beautiful and Shawn has done a fantastic job on it.

yep the oil is done and so is the bike i think it set and ready but u know i"ll have to teighten up something like the mirrows or something and i can't wait to do some moore when u get back lol 8)

Leaving for breakfast with the FOBs in a couple minutes. My daughter asked if we were riding. The sad thing is, we aren't. I really thought about it. I did and I wanted to, but there's too much ice. ARGGGHHHH!

Don, post a pic on bigbikeriders and link it here for your signature block! Everyone needs to see another bedlined bike. By the way, I'm thinking of redoing the wifes' bike in this stuff too. Maybe this way, if she lays it down again, I won't be having to fork out for another custom paint job. :shock:

well don i really hope u like it i tried my dammest to make the way u wanted it all 3 of ur guys vtx are very sweet rides maybe someday before i dye i will get mine done too 8)

Don, just stopped down by our 'secret paint shop' yesterday to help the wife pick a color for her 1300. Not sure if I'll ride her bike too much, even as secure as I am in my manhood. Should definitely be an interesting color with the chrome accessories already on her bike. She is also having me tear apart her old 500 to get done in a citrous/lime color. Won't be getting them in until middle of May as they are booked that far ahead.

I also dropped off my other tank and side covers. Side covers needed to be redone as they had some issues last time. As for the tank, I hope that I can get it back by the ride to Denver and/or the Cinco De Mayo show.
