I bought a Rocket III today and all I can say is "WOW!" I'll be keeping my Hondas and truly believe they are better bikes but this new bike is like riding with steroids. I think I may be hunting Harleys next week and maybe a few sport bikes. :D

Did you happen to be in Ola at the Gas/Rest. about 3-4.00? (Sunday). Saw a RED one, as I was leaving, had to go, otherwise I'd gone inside to find you and introduce myself. I don't know if that was you, But that bike was AWESOME DUDE! SMOKIN'-- RED is definitly the Color for them and it works because they would look just as bad as they are, even if they were Pink. That bike was SICK man. Now I've got figure out someway to get one-- not least of which will be convincing my wife that I need another bike to go w/ the 3 others, one of which is parked in her Living room.
Weather that was you or not in Ola, you got one bad a$$ Mo Sheen.

Changed out the break-in oil Saturday. They recommend Mobil One Silver Cap Synthetic. It uses the same oil filter as my Hondas. Regular oil change is recommended at 10,000miles.
Also, changed the oil and rear tire on the VTX. The VTX wheels are the easiest I've ever removed and re-installed. Actually, I don't think the rear took any longer than the front I changed 3 months ago. I put on Pirelli tires from HDL. We have 18,000 miles on the VTX and this was the first tire changes.
