Two More VTXs

Brought home two new VTX 1300Rs today. A black one for my daughter and a "red" one for my wife.

You gonna ride them up this weekend? Good choice of bikes, did you trade your wife's 750 in?

Traded in her 06 Shadow and the daughter's VLX 600 she bought last year. We lost a bundle on that, but those were "first bikes" and I knew I wanted them to upgrade fast. They put more miles on than most riders and were both ready for the bigger bike. They're going to be much happier. They're already talking about how glad they are.

Not sure we'll ride up. I'm watching the weather, but last time I took them to Casper it was about twenty degrees when we got home and they were frozen solid. I don't want to do that to them again. I'll watch the weather and decide at the last minute.

We're only coming up for Saturday and Nunya will be coming with us. He works on Friday.

See you Saturday then. If you leave early enough you can be here for breakfast. We're putting together a nice breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc. Not just cold food :)

BTW< the last time you guys rode to Casper was the last time I rode to cheyenne. We met on the interstate just north of Guernsy as we were making our way out of the bad weather you were getting into it! I remember that day pretty well :D

They didn't ride :lol: They did make it up in time for some food though :D I heard that it's dropping a little snow down south right now, so it was a good thing they didn't ride up.

Yeah, it was 37 and raining when we left and the afternoon forecast looked worse (and it was). Add to that the fact that I had to rush my trip home ... no way I could've ridden.

nunyas clutch is done between getting the caseing off with out cracking it and the pipes on without scratching it up it is really simple 8)
