Thanks Hal, the tour was great and lunch was much appreciated. (Tina wouldn't stop and let us eat on the way down) BWAAHAAHAA! :D Actually Tina kept our arses out of trouble on the way down. Many many police all the way down 27. THANK YOU TINA!
Some of us went home across Alligator Alley on 75. Hardly any traffic and a wide open road. Next thing ya know here comes Hermit outa the back, chasing a Corvette like a rabid dog. TOO COOL! Nothing like watchin an X do 140 into the sunset!
Glad I didn't miss this one.....
Graeme,Dallas, Ralph, and myself (Mike) made it home about 6:30 and 500 miles or so. Everyone else checked in?

I had a GREAT day. I'm glad I managed to keep us out of trouble on 27, but I must give credit where credit is due....my Vista Cruise Throttle Lock kept us out of trouble LOL. Every time I caught myself getting faster than about 10 miles over the limit I made myself slow down and hit the throttle lock. Without that I don't know what would have happened.

Thanks to everyone in central Florida that made the ride. I truly enjoyed. Next year I'll try to pick a day that we don't have to meet until about 7:00 a.m. so everyone can sleep in a bit later. Thanks again for gettin up and goin so early.

Yes enjoyed the Trip so much even though my arse is still sore... Thanks Hal for the great Lunch, those were great Hotdogs. The 10% off the goodies was great also.. Tina sorry I couldn't resist the Hand crank I just get bored stiff cruising at the same-o speed..I found out on this trip that all VTX and some other people are great to be around... Can't wait until next year...Mike the Trip Home was allsum! and we made it safely, It feels like we moved Miami closer to central fla....

Ralph, I didn't have a problem with the throttle twist :lol: My only concern was if I did it and the group followed I could almost guarantee that a cop would be around the next bend. Fitting one ticket into my budget would be tight and I sure didn't want to be responsible for 13 :shock:

I am game for the keys ride, would be nice if we could get a hotel res. before we go though. Hey I don't mind sleeping in a trailer (thank god for it) but prefer a bed.

If I leave Ft Lauderdale at 7 am I would have to go a overnighter before somewhere in south FL. I got ~ 340 mile ride before Miami.
