State Route 944

Anyone ever take this route? It starts in Enola, PA, and goes west into the mountians. I see alot of sportbikes on this road due to the sweeping curves and scenic view.

Looks good but only goes about 28 miles and ends at 223. Make a right on 223 to Rt 850, make anothe right, take 850 back to Marysville. Hang another right onto Rt 11 cruise along the river back to Enola.

Looks like it might be a nice afternoon ride. The sun will be behind you on the ride home.

I've done all those routes in a big 18 wheeler, and we have to slow down to 10 MPH to get those curves. How about SR. 944 west to SR 233 north to SR 74 south, back onto SR 944 East, onto Sr 34 North, and then SR 850 East to US 11 South?

If anyone wants to do this, let me know. The start point is less than a 1/8 mile from my house. And there is a large parking lot on US 11 just about a mile or 2 north of the Start point with a Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds.

PM is returned. Been thinking and the shorter one might be better, make it too long and a gas stop would have to be added, and there is only 1 or 2 gas stations on the course, both smack dab in the middle.

Hi all!
I might be interested depending on when it is, I am going to Gettysburg Sunday for the Blessing of the bikes. I work Saturdays till 5 pm so Saturday eve. or Sundays are my ride days. BTW I have made both of those loops they are great! I made the short one in December.

Won't be for a few weeks, every weekend is booked for the next 2 or three. Next weekend, after the bike blessing, (which I am going to), Appalacian Harley is throwing a big party. I don't know, But I may check it out.
