Just bought a VTX 1300 R

A friend of mine sent me to this forum. I just bought a 2006 VTX 1300 R on Tuesday. I love it and how wonderful to ride it out the door with 0 miles :) I bought my 750 used. It sure is hard to keep the speed down during the break in. It really wants to go faster!

Congrats!!! Im new here too, picked up my 02 R last Monday.

I dont know where you are in Indiana but check out the thread on Tech Day for next Saturday. Several from here getting together to work on their bikes and have fun. You should try to make it even if you dont have anything you want to tweak on your bike yet. (dont worry, you soon will LOL)

I had never really looked into the VTX until my wife brought home the pic of my now new to me bike. I never realised what a following the VTX had!

Thanks for the welcome! I put another 100 miles on it today. Oh, joy, joy. It is such a fun bike to ride and what a beautiful day to ride. I hope Monday is just as nice, my next ridding day :)
