and see if there are any riders in the Jonesboro area. If so, are there any organized group rides happening? By the way, I've found the site to be very helpful and full of great info, keep up the good work.

Welcome I am in Hardy 60 miles northwest of you couple os X`s up here we ride a lot all over will post our next ride have several different bikes in the grooup but the X`s stay up front :D

Well it is good to hear from you guys. Do I stay tuned to this section of the board to learn what is happening in this area? There was a poker run this past Saturday that I missed but I'm sure there will be more.

Kennyt I'll be coming through your area Friday morning on my way to Searcy to get some service on my bike at Sunrise. I'm guessing will be coming through Newport around 8:00 if you want to ride down to Searcy. I think a friend from Jonesboro is going to join me for the ride, the more the merrier.

There are at least 5 VTX's in our group here in Jonesboro. We ride quite a bit. my e-mail is milesd@cox-internet.com write to me and I will put you on my e-mail list. I'm first officer of the Jonesboro Chapter of the Southern Cruisers. www.southerncruisers.net/ (http://www.southerncruisers.net/) but you don't have to join to ride with us. We are going to Popular bluff saturday to a rally up there and then the following weekend (friday) to Hog Rock rally in Illinois.

Thanks for the info, I sent you an email with my contact information. I'll probably try to make the Saturday ride if you guys won't make fun of my stock VTX. No pipes or extra chrome, just stock. Only had it a week now. I'm not a new rider, been touring for years but I am new to the VTX, and I love it. I already know of several changes / additions I want to make but been having problems finding the parts I want. Anyway, what a great hobby, modifying your toy ..... Look forward to hearing from you guys.
