1. How does it mount on the VTX?? Does it mount on the clutch/brake mounts?
It comes with a ram mount, that can be mounted on the clutch/brake mounts or on the handle bars both options included.
3. Does it take a standard SD card?? or is it a Mini or Micro?
It takes standard SD Cards, I'm using a Sandisk 1 gb SD Card on mine
4. What are your opinions of this unit in general
I personaly like this unit very much, best GPS I had so far, and I believe must users agree.
5. Where did you steal the 12 volts for the unit?
You have different options. I got the power from the headlight bucket (spare plug for driving lights), or you can run directly from the battery or add a relay circuit.
7. Can this unit be used in a car application as well?
Yes.. It comes with mounts for both car and motorcycle.
Im not sure about the other questions. Someone else will shime in....
Thanks for the info how long have you had your unit?

+1 to ZumoForums. I was started by a couple of VTXers and now has grown to over 1300 folks.
I have a Gramin eTrex, i3 (stolen), c320 (passed on), c340 (wife's), and the Zumo 550. It is a very tricked unit and learning more about it over at ZumoForums will make it even more trick.
Oh yeah LozTX was spot on the other questions to. The Zumo will also now take the HCSD cards... so 8GB is available. Yet the limit is 1000 songs (up from the 500 on the out of the box firmware). I'm sure Garmin will fix that soon too. :D

Thanks for the info how long have you had your unit?I got mine a little over 2 months ago. I got it for a 10 day trip to TN, NC and it was right on the entire trip. I did not make reservations on any hotels in advance, use the zumo find features and the bluetooth phone to find places to stay and book the rooms every night, then click on GO and it took me there.
Let me ask this can you hear MP3 Audio through bluetooth? I know you can make calls. Does the Zumo have phone numbers in the list of POI's and will it dial it for you?

Yes. When you find a POI. You get the option to 'GO' and to 'CALL' if you are BTed up.
Really looking forward to getting it tomorrow. I am going to the Honda Hoot and will be nice to take it with me there. I have a bluetooth Jaba headset I assume this will work with this?

It should work. I'm not sure how well the Jabra would hold up 80mph under a helmet, but it should work in a car fine.
