The Zone show

did anyone go to the the zone's bike show last weekend I know the weather was a little if-y but if so did anyone take any pictures that they could post for those of us that couldn't attend. :) :rain1: :rat: :blkc: :orac:

I went to the show. It was kind of a bust because of the crappy weather. There were only twelve bikes in the show,6 cruisers
and 6 touring.It was pouring rain during the sign-up time and alot of people called and said they're waiting for the rain to let up,which of coarse never did happen.So,for the people who were planning to go to
the show, you really didn't miss a whole lot.
I didn't take any pics because I left my camera at home figuring that
Nate would come with his camera. The rain kept Nate at home so there's
no pictures.(my fault) Anyway, there were only 2 other VTX's in the show
besides mine, 1 custom painted retro with beetle bags and lots of chrome
and 1 custom painted C with lots of chrome . My bike took 3rd place in
the cruiser class. 1st place went to a totally custom Yamaha Road Star w/
a turbo on it.(same bike I came in 2nd to last year)and 2nd went to a
tricked out Harley Road King.How a Road King winds up in the cruiser class, I'll never know. I always thought of them being a touring bike.
Maybe it's just sour grapes on my part. But hey,I can't complain, at least I
came away with third.

Thanks for you informative repot congrat.s on your 3rd. place win better luck next year .Harley, at a Honda dealer sponserd show not cool you could haved won 1st. place if not for HD.
