Running out of things to talk about and nobody else wants to start anything..Besides, nice to take a break. Hey, you gotta be getting close to your Kentucky run. Man, I envy you Paul. I had thought about riding out to Oklahoma, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Take care my friend.

:? Say Al, got a couple questions, 1. What kind of risers do you have?
2. What kind of shield and light bars do you have? I ordered Big Bike parts risers and when I called to check my order status, I was told they are on back order  only 2 weeks to go!!!!! and they are on back order!!!! Need them before I go so I changed to Areomac with the 3 day shipping  The extra cost is a bummer but I don't have the time to wait. I have a Memphis Shades Shield and understand I can use the Honda Light Bar. Won't be getting that for a while, but a little research into my options can't hurt.

Hey Paul,

I have the Aeromach 1x4's. I believe I bought them from HDL as they were the only ones that had them in stock. I love em.

The lightbar is a Hondaline. Bought it with the bike. Same as the Shield. Good stuff the Hondaline, but expensive. Quality is excellent so's you get what you pay for IMHO.

You'll like the Aeromachs, the finish is excellent. Man, talk about comfort. With the Kury cruise pegs I feel like I'm riding in a recliner with the new mustang seat.

Hope it helps.
Al

Hey Al, give on photoshop, and get friendly with GIMP on that Linux box. :)

Sorry, I'm a Linux guy from way back. I don't have windows on any of my boxes anymore. ;)

Hi Al,............................................... ........................................http://bigbikeriders.com/photopost/data/500/11165moped_1_.gif
I just downloaded a Linux .iso image and burned it to a CD. It will boot Linux from the cd and not mess with the standard windows installation. Good way to learn Linux without ending up in the deep end without your water wings, thats what Im using it for. It's cool, but having problems with network connections. Eh? What can you do? Talk with you soon!

I hear ya. Actually I administer HP 9000 systems running HPUX through a Linux workstation. I love tinkering with it. Been working on a website using Bluefish and GIMP.

Photoshop is a trip. Just something else to play around with.

CUL.

Al, no kidding!?! Another computer geek?
lol

I'm a systems analyst. ;)
My primary charges at the moment are a gagle of IBM AIX Servers, and a couple of Sun Solaris Servers. I do my work from a Linux box on my desk too.

I kind of miss HP-UX. I used to have a couple of them in my stable a while back. It's a good *nix. Comfortable to work with.
Just never figured you as the computer geek type. I guess you just never know.

BTW: The bike is looking awesome!
