Alrighty, 3-Day weekend coming up, any rides planned? Sure would like to meet some of you fine folks.

Not sure If I can do Madisonville, but REALLY want to ride this weekend...

the Map said it would take 2 1/2 hours to get there driving the freeway... (I'm still riding on a permit..... shhhhhhhh) I think it would take a very long time to get there on backroads... anyone know of a route from Dalton that won't take all day to get there? or can we try something farther north?

Thanks, Cody, for the link to Cloudland Canyon. I’m always open to learning about new and interesting places to ride to in Georgia. I’ve driven to Providence Canyon many, many years ago. I need to ride down there again soon to see if it’s gotten any bigger…

Clouland is over in the extreme NW Georgia area.

DanXer used to refer to that ride as the '2 canyon run'

Little river canyon and Cloudland.

Both are on the tail end of Lookout mountain ridge coming out of Chatanooga.

Well lets see, first as of right now I'll be working all damn weekend with maybe Monday off but we don't know yet for sure on that one, and second I'm pretty sure if I'm off on Monday the little misses isn't going release a kitchen pass for me.

I see on Chick Fil A's Web site the address is 797 Hwy 400 South, Dawsonville, Ga. 30534. I called to verify they are on the north bound lane, in front of or in the area of Walmart and Home Depot. Though they will be closed it is just a place to gather and group up.
Also the Chick Fil A is located north of State Rd. 318 and south of 53 if that helps.
Ya'll come on, we will see ya in the A.M.

I made it home safe and sound, no worse for wear... Had a wonderful day and it was great meeting all of you guys...and gals. Definately need to get together again...

We enjoyed every minute of it, thank you for riding with us we had a great ride. The smoke was bad at first but it cleared up. Like you said we all made it back safely and with smiles on our faces. Mike and Shirley we enjoyed have you guys with us as well. See ya next time.
