1300 a Tweener?

:shock: Can you believe it I realized today that my 1300 is a tweener! Somewhere between a Big bike and a small bike :roll: It's time for tires and Metzler doesn't make a tire for the front of an S model :evil: As near as I can tell the only stock size set available are Dunlop. You don't suppose this is some kind of conspiracy!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

I believe I've seen posts to the effect that Avon makes the right size, a step up from the Dunlops. I'm at 13,500 now and still have lots of rubber left, front is showing a bit more wear than the rear.

:( Went to the Avon web site, no luck. Hondaline Direct says that the only front tire available for the 1300s is from Honda only, seems alot like my ford the first year, lots of things only available OEM. See, the conspiracy theory sounds less like a theory and more like plot! :shock:
I would be in less a hurry to get tires except I am leaving for Kentucky on the 11th of June, my tires are showing some wear probably 80% gone but for this trip I want no trouble, or as little as possible. :wink:

I was shopping for whitewalls for my "S" and found more than one alternative. They gotta be out there!

I got almost 18,000 from the stock Dunlops. I just replaced em with the same. I don't corner as hard as most folks so the Dunlops are pretty good for the munny.
