Hey Folks

In the 'Philadelphia' forum there was talk of a possible Meet n Greet, in Delco. I think this would be a really cool idea to set up a time/ place for X riders (and any other riders welcome) in the area to get together...check out each others rides..put some faces to the names ect..
Just thought I would put it out there see what kind of response I could stir up!

Sounds good to me. With these longer days (at least until June 20 when they start getting shorter again) we can even do it in the middle of the week. Delaware or Chester County are OK, so is Bucks or Lancaster. Plenty of food places around to pick from just to have a parking lot to meet and a chance to go inside for a bite to eat or bit to drink. Then there's always the parking lot at Planet Honda, on Route 202 just north of the Delaware state line in Delaware County,PA. Like you say, meeting and putting faces with handles sounds good.....

Good idea!

Count me in. Just so there is enough notice to make sure that I'm off duty. If we get a good idea of the number of people, we can come up with a good place to meet.

I am in the same boat. Any extended time on the bike has to be ok'd through the time procurement division(wife). Atleast we are MAN enough to admit it. Hope to meet up with you guys soon.

OK X'ers!

How does this weekend sound? Too soon? What would be better, Saturday or Sunday? Friday night would be fine with me, too.

I hate to always use Hooters as a meeting place, but at least we know they are biker friendly. There is a Hooters on US Rt. 1 at Rt. 202. I guess it would be Concordville or Chadds Ford, PA. The reason I suggest this, is because that would be fairly central to Delaware and Chester counties, as well as for our friends from Delaware state. If you are coming from farther north or west, don't hesitate to suggest someplace else. Or, if you just have a better place to meet. There is also a Friendly's Restaurant on the opposite side of this intersection (right next to Hannum's Harley-Davidson!). Planet Honda is a short way down south on Rt. 202, if you would rather meet there.

If this weekend is no good, we can try another time, or during the week. I just want to get the ball rolling.

Saturday sounds good to me. Late Morning so everyone has time to cut the lawn and still get there with time to BS. Friday is probably a possibility as well. Any of the places you mentioned is fine by me but if we meet at Planet Honda we can possibly get a nice ride in. If we were to meet earlier perhaps we could plan a longer ride to Conawingo Dam and or some other cool destination.
Keep me in the loop.

Well uh yeh all those places sound good to me. Uh...wife won't like me going to Hooters but I can wait out on the street. The Kangaroo damn soulds like a nice little ride. Let me know and I will ask the wife...or maybe one of you could call and ask her for me. :oops:

You can pick the place, then. We can meet at Planet Honda or Friendly's. I don't much like the food at Hooters, anyway.

We might have to change the location to someplace other than Hooters. We don't want to get Ragman into any trouble. We need a little unity here, guys! Otherwise, he might never get the chance to come out and play.

Looks like Hooters is the place of choice. That will be fine with me. I'll just wear a disguise. Friday evening or Saturday would be better for me but of course it will all depend on how manly I am when I approach the wife. Sounds like a lot of fun. :D

Wow Ragman...you are a real man, and a real buddy. Making such a sacrifice for the cause!

I haven't seen Steve on here for awhile. Can you give him a call? I think I have his e-mail here, somewhere.

We had a HRC meeting at Planet Honda last night. Chuck is going to suspend meetings until the fall. He is just going to schedule rides once or twice a month, and hope people show up. It's all about the RIDE, anyway!

I just cleaned it in the early spring. I'm not sure if the wife will give me the time to both clean the bike and take a ride. Maybe I'll just hose it down to get all the heavy stuff off.

I'm in for Saturday. I'll be paying for this for weeks.

Hey, guys! Sounds like a great idea to me. Noon on Saturday at Planet Honda (the Meeting Place) or Hooters (the Final Destination)? Either place sounds good, but I'll only sell it to my wife as Planet Honda! I can't clip my wings before I even start to fly (LOL) by mentioning the "Final Destination"! :wink: Count me in, regardless! :lol: 8)

You can say whatever you like! Our lips are sealed. However, we are meeting at Hooters at noon on Saturday. Let me know if you need any directions, or anything. I might be meeting up with some riders in Springfield, for the ride to Hooters. Let me know if you want to meet up earlier.
