The 'Florida Coast2Coast Ride' returns for 2007.

Over 170+ folks, from eight states & one rider from Kitchner, Ontario Canada, enjoyed the 'FLC2C II' in October '06.

So far, folks from AZ, NH, TX, AL, GA, SC, NC, VA, NJ, KY, FL, & New Brunswick, Canada, have registered for the ride.

Riding here, tho not very technical, is still a very pleasant experience. The 'FLC2C' is surely one of the best events that let's you explore into the deep rural areas of the state...in the mild-temps of mid-October.

Come enjoy the 'FLC2C' route, that weaves thru rural central Florida, on some of the best awe-inspiring scenic back roads/byways that the state has to offer!

So, leave the fast pace of the city & interstates...slow down, relax, & come explore Florida!!!

Bankshot brought his son and my wife rode with me on this ride last year. Very nice ride across the state on little known back roads. We had a lot of fun. We will probably go again this year but we don't plan anything this far in advance. :wink:

How long a ride is this? I saw people who rode 150-300 miles. Was this 1 way? Why the difference in miles? I am up for a long 1 day trip.

The big number miles is miles ridden to the start of the rode, the ride, & ride home.

The ride itself, is 'bout 195+ miles, zig zagging across central Florida on scenic back roads...it is a fun all day ride.

And just to make it exciting, you may find a slight "road name" error on the route list. :lol: (Still looking for it!). It is definitely a fun ride and the money goes to a good cause... join in!

Any chance of getting the route ahead of time?

Would like to program it into a couple different route mappers to get an estimate of the trip time. One being a garmin zumo for the actual ride.

For me the starting point is a two hour ride and the ride home is a two hour ride.

Guessing the entire day will be around 10 hours plus or minus. Long day but sounds like a lot fun.
