OK I need some help and I guess I don't want to have to tear apart what I have wired up to troubleshoot unless no one here can help me> :(
I have a J&M CB2003 system which gets it's 12v off the taillight circuit and is grounded to the battery. I just installed a ZUMO GPS and it get it's 12v from the dashlight and is grounded to the signal light circuit. OK Using my IPOD completely independent from BIKE power NO noise in J&M great sound. Connect the ZUMO (same connectore from J&M) to J&M and BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ. I just also installed a KISAN SIGNAL MINDER and heppened to read in there about RF interference. I then pulled that unit out CLEAN audio from the ZUMO/J&M configuration. I am going to try tomorrow to change the ground for the ZUMO from the signal lights but anybody else got any other suggestions???
Thanks

I have a NUVI 350 connected to my J&M and have the same problem. I called J&M and they said they had received several calls about the Garmin products. They don't have any noise filters. I am experimenting with some ferrite coils and a 10 amp 150W power noise filter. I plan on trying to hook it up this week.

I also found that if you run the power for both units from a clean source cuts it WAY WAY down. But let me know what you find on your coils>
