What is your favorite mod on your bike? Why? Least favorite? (or would have done different, didn't tun out like you wanted)
Mine is prolly windshield, a huge comfort difference with Memphis Fats, followed by ISO grips, I'm likin those although they are real new to me.....
I woulda done more shopping / research for saddlebags. mine are OK,,,, barely,,,I rushed to get them & settled for synthetic River Road, they're functional but can't be proud of 'em. almost touch the pipes too, had to jury rig to get them off the pipes.

Gotta be the seat for me - 1 trip to Spokane over Hwy 2 had me convinced that the stock 1300c seat wasn't going to cut it. I was hurting before I hit Monroe. I had BadX mod the seat with memory foam and I didn't get sore on the 3-Pass Blast (about the same miles as my Spokane trip).

Paint, more specifically the ghost flames and painting the headlight bucket. Lowering the rear and a lower proflle seat would be second I think... next would be the Kury bullet lighs. I'll get back to you after I get my front end mods on...OK?

If I had to pick just one, it would be the seat with a driver's backrest. That backrest is a definite fatigue saver.

Winshield helped me feel like my arms weren't being pulled from my shoulders. The Mustang seat feels good for my azz. The Kury iso grips are good for my hands and wrists (carpo tunnel). All the new led turn signals lights from Kury are very nice and the RTB gives you more visability. Of course lets not forget about the Progressive fork springs for the greatly improved ride

Worst is easy, the new rear fender looks great but fits like crap. I gotta figure out what to do with it. I wished I would have spent the money and got the Boss bags, mine are nice but sit too far out from the bike.

Seat was necessary and initially disapointing.

Ultimate seat was more comfortable than stock but not nearly what I was hoping for. It's the one mod I've done twice.

"prolly"?

:) I haven't met a mod I didn't love!!! After the performance package; V/H big shots, hypercharger, and power cammander, I would have to say the mustang 2-up tour seat was very important to the wife and I... Ed1947 8)

I've always wondered about the Ultimate. I've heard my fair share of complaints.

prolly is short for probably

Have to agree on the Memphis windshield, followed closely by the Mustang seat.

The passenger seat and passenger floorboards are probably the most important in terms of having my better half ride and not complain (too much.) We seem to be able to go much further without stopping and are more comfortable when we get there.

I'm with Ed, tho', haven't added anything yet that didn't make the ride more fun. :D

Seat - for comfort, close second windshield same reason. After seat change added 4" risers, much more comfortable riding position. Windshield without seat was still intolerable, couldn't go 100 miles without severe pain. But seat without windshield is comfy, but annoying because of wind.

Some really good responses so far,,, the seat theme is getting the most play, I almost & prolly (there's that word again)shoulda sent my seat in to Bad-X....oops, I mean mean city cycles here,,,, for their rehash, while the sendin was good, now I don't want any downtime waitin' for it back. I'm really just lookin for advice on stuff, what works for you etc. Will probably ride out the season unless there's a deal on mustang or some other seat that I gotta have. My tiny hiny gets sore at 50 miles!

Well, Dickf123, my advice is to pick up a nice take off seat set on ebay or this board and send them back to Allen at MeanCity Cycle. I picked a set up in WI for 41.00 and had the seller ship it direct to NC to Allen. Saved a little on shipping, and the horse could still be ridden. Seats GREAT!, although since I didn't actually do the mod,(just paid and installed) I can't take too much credit. My overall BEST mod is the Audiovox Cruise control. Just love it, shake out a dead hand and keep constant speed, never able to do that on any other bikes I've owned. Good luck with the seat. Macguyver
