Still 40% chance of rain for Sunday. Looks the Central folks are going to sit this one out. I am still on for meeting at HP in the morning at 8, we can all make a decision in the morning either head to Punta Gorda or stay a little closer to bring us back earlier.

I made it home at 4:45 missed all the rest of the rain coming home on the Sawgrass.

I'm not sure what happened to everyone. After it started to poor I lost track. I hope everone is safe and gets home soon.

I got home at 4:45 too! We lost Ralph & Susan (or they lost us..) but Ralph left me a message when he got home. Reelfun had no windshield :roll: ....enough said about that! :twisted:

Fun trip number one and have to thank Norm for leading us back thru that thunder head and his flashers are great for heavy rain, and being a human shield.

oh btw...we went down 41 to naples...across on CR846 then camp rd to oil well rd to 29 to 75 to home (@ 5:15)...

ahem...side-stepped all the rain...though it was close... :wink:


and total miles were 1790...unfortunately half of it was getting out and in FL although mostly back roads which made up for it...
